If a student wants to go to Santa Clara University, he or she usually knows what they want to major in. Engineering, Business, Arts and Sciences are the three schools for undergraduates. Each school within the University has its own “Core” requirements that each student has to do, no matter what major they choose. For each major within those schools, students at Santa Clara University are required to take a certain number of classes. The School of Engineering has very specific classes students need to take. Students in the Business School or College of Arts and Sciences have a wider variety of classes to choose from that meet their requirements.

The College of Arts & Sciences is the biggest undergraduate school at Santa Clara University. Students can choose from a wide range of majors including Music, Web Design, and Physics. There are also a bunch of minors that allow students to explore other interests like Creative Writing and Studio Art.

The Leavey School of Business is Santa Clara University's undergraduate business program. It is nationally ranked and gives students the ability to choose from a handful of majors they can use in the real world.
